The Fuertes Telescope
The viewing end of the main telescope, with the eyepiece at the center. The eyepiece shown is actually not in use, but is changed for others for viewing. The finder scope is to the left, and the wooden knobs on the right are locks for the telescope. In order to change the field of view, these need to be unlocked. The open slit of the dome can be seen in the background. Also in the background are the clearly defined axes for the telescope mount: the declination (blue rod across), and right ascension (RA) prependicular to it.

Pictures of the telescope inside the dome were taken by Jonathan Ferguson of Sunforge Studios
