The Fuertes Telescope
Inside the dome. A view along the main telescope. The black cylindrical box on the side can house equipment/film for astronomical photography. The brass tube on the side is the 4" refractor finder scope, used for coarse navigation. The circular dial on the right shows the declination coordinates of the telescope. Below it are the weights that balance the telescope on the axis.
