Program details

Students will work directly with Cornell faculty and research staff on projects that cover a wide range of disciplines in radio, infrared and radar astronomy, and related theoretical topics.

In addition to conducting individual research projects, students will also participate in group activities such as seminars.

For each participant, a stipend of $6,000.00 will be provided for the ten week
session, plus up to $1,000.00 for relocation and up to $500.00 for travel to an Astronomy meeting to present scientific results.

Students will be eligible to apply to on-campus housing facilities and dining plans at their own cost.

Selections will be announced after March 1, 2010.
