Dear Britt,
What, me snicker at the idea of trusting an Elder? Grin, maybe,
laugh, maybe, but snicker? Anyway, what's the matter with Dairmaid -
doesn't he realize that Gerard is the only one of the bunch he's met so
far who's absolutely trustworthy? Also, he can absolutely trust Chiara
when he meets her, though she's apt to think he's less interesting than
Gerard was when he got hung up on her. At least Gerard could play chess
respectably, and wasn't, at that time, involved in the family Game. I
wonder if Jason will make it clear to Dairmaid that Chiara has contempt,
not for his inaptitude with weapons, but for his being involved in family
politics. She never has liked family fights. Primarily because I really
can't play a character that is into that kind of thing. I tried, at
least some, with the character I had in Ahmad's game, whose name I can't
remember, but it didn't work at all.
If Dairmaid is really serious about making an attempt at
shortening Corwin's lifespan, has he picked out his coffin yet? Anyway,
think of the favor Corwin did him. By making people think Dairmaid isn't
too good, he made it more likely they'll be a little careless, when and
if Dairmaid decides he wants to erase someone.
Don't strangle the GM when your old man turns out to be Oberon,
shapeshifted to look like Gerard - it's much too entertaining to read
about your game -
Paula
