Yeah, I suppose Eric was frustrated. The question is, why Oberon
didn't do the usual Oberon sort of thing. I doubt it's because Eric beat
him up last time. The other question is, why did Oberon do such an inept
job on Eric in the first place? As to Eric's motives, he might even
believe that himself, but Chiara would say that the male members of the
family, with the possible exception of Benedict, have more than a
desirable level of testosterone. And while Corwin may well be a world
class jerk, as I remember, Chiara wouldn't think Eric necessarily had a
whole lot of room to talk.
Sounds like Atura is unhappy with Dairmaid. I can think of a
reason or two, too.
Hope Dairmaid can find a hole to crawl into when Caine stops
being pathetic.
Maybe Oberon has lost his dislike for Fey. I'd hate to rely on
that, or the idea that he might have missed knowing that Dorie had Fey
friends. On the other hand, maybe she managed to run into a nice quiet,
innocuous batch.
