Dear Britt,
How old is Caine, that he is finally learning to be
semi-civilized? I wonder if infinite or nearly infinite lifetimes are
the exlanation for the generally childish attitudes of some of the older
members of the family - Amberites growing up physically at a normal rate,
but not mentally or emotionally? "Oh, grow up!" is probably not
something a PC should be saying to an elder, but it sure is a temptation
at times.
Gerard was cool when he was younger, too. Always has been
something of a care-taker. Benedict was cool, too, at least from
Chiara's point of view. Bleys "only" fault is that he is a psychopath?
Seems to me that that one makes up for all the ones he is missing.
