The Radio, Millimeter and Submillimeter
Community Presentation to CAA, May 20, 2005
The RMSPG has been invited to organize a presentation of the
long range plan for US RMS astronomy to the
Committee on Astronomy and Astrophysics (CAA) at its next
meeting on 20 May 2005. Four members of the RMS community
will speak. They are:
- John Carlstrom (U Chicago), representing the RMSPG
- Jim Cordes (Cornell)
- Lee Mundy (U Maryland)
- Jim Ulvestad (NRAO)
This group will have not more than 2 hours total for this
presentation, including discussion time, so the current plan
is 25-30 min for John to summarize the RMSPG activities
and 12-15 minutes each for Jim C. (long wavelength vision), Lee
(short wavelength vision) and Jim U. (facilities vision). Note that
the overall presentation will be developed so that
assignments delegated to each speaker will be coordinated.
Stay tuned for further information.
