Hi, I am a graduate student working towards my Ph.D. in Astronomy at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. I work with Prof. Jim Bell on recent results from the Mars Exploration Rover (MER) mission. Specifically, I am using the Pancam instruments to study the surface composition and history of water at Gusev Crater. I also work with MER operations as a Pancam Payload Downlink Lead.

Lately I have been using orbital imagery to study Eberswalde Crater, one of the four candidate landing sites for the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) rover. The final landing site will be chosen this summer, and MSL is scheduled for launch in November, 2011.
