autosched -- a tool to generate a VLBA sched file based on an input file. Requirements: gcc sched (see the user manual at http://www.aoc.nrao.edu/~cwalker/sched/sched/sched.html) pmpar (can be downloaded from http://nacho.princeton.edu/~walterfb/pmpar/pmpar.html) Install: untar.gz the source; cd to autosched- ./configure --prefix= is the base install path. The exectable will be placed in /bin, so this should be in your path. A default of /usr/local will be used for if none is supplied. make make install Running: before running, make sure the following 4 files are in the working directory: random.in contact.in setup.in corparams.in Use the files distributed here as templates. autosched pulsar.x 2002.6 17 bc123 where pulsar.x is the input file (see sample.x for a sample) 2002.6 is the epoch of the sched file in years 17 is the start LST of the observation bc123 is the observation code.
