Astronomical data are unaffected. If you use the PCAL signal to help calibrate your data, it won't be there. 1725-1734 *KP tape on recorder 1 dropped vacuum at the end of 11907 100 9 tape on the first forward pass. I was able to reload the tape through the TAPE MOTION screen. I then started the tape moving in REVERSE, and the next source change started the tape moving FORWARD and over-writing some data on track 1 (~ 5 minutes worth). Tape stopped at the end of tape and went into REVERSE ok. TRACKUSE screen showed that TRACK ONE filled up. Footage counter looks ok, hopefully will have no more problems with the tape. 1821-1823 *KP tape on recorder 1 again dropped vacuum at the 11907 100 2 end of tape. Brought up TRACKUSE screen to verify that the track usage was correct, brought up TAPE MOTION screen and did a LOAD command to the drive. Next source change the tape took off in the proper direction (reverse). Generated maintenance form so that the tape can be checked out when it comes back to the AOC for correlation. 1903 BR bad readback drive 2 track 4 - known 11856 readback problem, data are ok; All other sites ok 1912-1914 *KP drive dropped vacuum with supply at about 500' 11907 100 2 reloaded tape. 1916 End. Downtime Summary: Total downtime : 13 min Percentage downtime of observing: 1.1% Average downtime per hour : 0.6 min Total scheduled observing time (# Antennas): 1210 min (10) Notes: * = Entries where data was affected. % = Entries where data may have been affected. & = Entries where the site tech was called out. WEA = Weather entries. MF# = Maintenance form or major downtime category associated with a problem. %AD = The percentage of an antenna affected by a problem. AMD = Total antenna-minutes downtime for a problem. Tsys = System Temperature (TP/SP x Tcal/2) ACU = Antenna Control Unit FRM = Focus/Rotation Mount RFI = Radio Frequency Interference VME = Site control computer CB = Circuit Breaker vclock = Program that compares site clock time to a standard.
