Size distributions of the families

In the following plots we report the size distribution of real and synthetic members of Adeona (first row), Gefion, and Dora (only synthetic members).   For the real members, their size was determined by using their absolute magnitude and the albedo (when available, otherwise a value obtained by averaging the known albedo of the other members of the family was used).  The Adeona family is dominated by Adeona itself, with a radius of 75 km, while the largest object in Gefion has a radius of ~18 km.   The size distribution of the synthetic families is dominated by smaller objects, in order to maximize the effect of the Yarkovsky force.
